Sarah2024-09-02Lovely place will be coming back all the timeDuckbutcher2024-08-27Stayed here with my better half the other week, and we couldn’t have picked a better time or place. The weather held out and we were treated to gorgeous views from the pub. The place itself is an ancient old building with a lot of history, ask the staff if you want the stories. In recent years the pub has been done up somewhat and extensions added to keep it up to date, but you’ll still get comical locals and regulars being colorful and rowdy if you’re there on a weekend evening. Food is a cut above your average countryside pub and in general the place seems to be punching above its weight. Well done.Mark Carney2024-07-17Great views, good service worth a visitGunter Vermeulen2024-07-16Wat een ligging...Alyson Mitchell (at.morecambewieners)2024-06-25Great riverside venue. We've only ever used the pub for food and drink. Always a friendly welcome, food is good and arrives hot. Ample outdoor seating at picnic tables, parking along the roadside. Check the tide times as the road can flood when the tide is very high. Most impressed by the Cushelle toilet roll in the ladies!Mehigh Highlander (Adrian Mihai Amariei)2024-06-19Only for a location you can see the high tide coming on Rivergeoff sutcliffe2024-05-28A nice pint with nice view of the river lune. The staff are excellent. And you'll get to meet " snatch " the resident parrot 🦜

The Golden Ball is located within equal distance of Lancaster, Morecambe and Heysham. We are also ideally located for anyone visiting the Isle of Man, as the ferry port is a short drive from the hotel. The Lake District is only 30 minutes from our door, or in the other direction we have Ingleton Falls, Settle and the famous steam railway.
